Eistnaflug 2013 upcoming

Gli organizzatori del più grande festival estivo islandese, l'Eistnaflug, hanno appena annunciato i dettagli relativi al billing di questo atteso evento. La rassegna, quest'anno, si svolgerà dal 10 al 13 luglio e come da tradizione avrà luogo nella cittadina costiera di Neskaupstaður, a 700 km da Reykjavík.

Novità di quest'anno, sarà lo show esclusivo per famiglie del mercoledì, che vedrà sul palco tre tra i gruppi più amati e noti anche all'estero, Dimma, Sólstafir e Skálmöld.

Durante i restanti tre giorni di festival, si alterneranno on stage più di quaranta gruppi, di generi metal, rock e alternative, in prevalenza islandesi, tra cui anche i vincitori della Wacken Metal Battle Ísland 2013, i deathster Ophidian I.

I biglietti per i tre giorni di festival sono già in vendita online, al prezzo di 9900 corone islandesi (circa 65€). Ricordiamo che, come spesso accade per gli eventi organizzati in Scandinavia, anche quest'anno l'Eistnaflug è off limits per i minori di 18, con esclusione della sola giornata di mercoledì. Eistnaflug is an Icelandic summer festival, which annually gathers hundreds of metalheads to an isolated fjord on the east coast of the island, in  a small town called Neskaupstaður, around 700 km far from Reykjavík. This year, Eistnaflug will take place from Jul, 10. to Jul, 13, in the heart of Nordic summer.

In particular, this year a special event has been added to the usual 3 days of festival madness. 
In fact, during on Wednesday 10th, a special concert, including well-known bands Dimma, Sólstafir and Skálmöld, will be held exclusively for families and little metalheads.

Among the other metal, rock, indie and alternative bands, mostly Icelandic, that will perform on stage during this festival, deathster Ophidian I are particularly worth a mention, since being the winners of  Wacken Metal Battle Ísland 2013.

Tickets are already on sale here for 9900 ISK (around 65€). Please note that, as it usually happens in the Scandinavia countries, all the audience must be +18 years old to attend the event.
